Ted Cruz is attempting to rebrand as...someone funny.
First, it was the oddly timed Zodiac Killer tweet. Then, per HuffPost, during a CNN debate between the Texas senator and Senator Bernie Sanders held Wednesday night, Cruz decided to toss out a TV reference – one we're guessing he'd been sitting on for days and was thrilled to finally use.

During a back-and-forth in which Cruz asked Sanders not to interrupt him, he quipped: "Relax. You know, as some might say, Curb Your Enthusiasm." Ha ha.
"By the way, the impression Larry David does of you is spectacular and uncanny," Cruz continued. To which Sanders responded, "Some day, you may also have somebody impersonating you. You gotta work on it though."
